Final Farewells for Oikos University Victim Grace Eunhae Kim

Union City resident was remembered Friday as thousands gathered at a church in Fremont for a memorial service in her name.

Family and friends grieved the passing of the 23-year-old, whose life was cut short with entered in Oakland on April 2 and began shooting, killing seven.

Loved ones and charismatic personality. In the video above, Kim's brother, Paul Kim, remembers his sister as a sibling who was always there for him and spoke about her dreams of providing for her family.

Kim was known for working hard while attending Oikos to study nursing. The Foothill High School graduate worked both at Union City's Chaplin's restaurant and Newark's BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse.

Kim was laid to rest at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward Saturday morning.
