NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Two burglary suspects were arrested Monday in Newport Beach, officers said Tuesday. Police responded to a call involving a residential burglary in the area of Pelican Point Drive and Shoreline, between Pacific Coast Highway and the beach, at around 7:20 p.m. Monday. The two suspects apparently fled the home but were arrested after Newport Beach police officers set up a perimeter around the area.A police helicopter and drones helped with the investigation, police said. No further information was immediately available.
