2 Robbery Suspects Arrested Near Fashion Island Thursday
The two Los Angeles men were arrested for conspiracy to commit grand theft in Newport Beach, the Newport Beach Police Department reported.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Two Los Angeles men were arrested on Thursday near Fashion Island in Newport Beach on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grand theft, the Newport Beach Police Department reported.
The incident was reported at 1:01 p.m. Thursday, after the department received a call from a witness to report a robbery inside an unnamed business in the 600 block of Newport Center Drive.
Upon arriving to the scene, one suspect was detained in a parking lot in front of the business and another was arrested in the store, NBPD Spokesperson Heather Rangel said.

Calvin Maxwell Webb, 25, and Felton Levoy Binns, 26, were booked on suspicion of grand theft and conspiracy, Rangel said.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
