3 Car Crash At Meyer Place Injures 3 In Costa Mesa
A red SUV was rolled to its side, requiring Costa Mesa Firefighters to remove the roof to free a trapped driver.

COSTA MESA, CA — A three-car crash in Costa Mesa injured three drivers, one seriously, a Newport Beach fire captain reported Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred right in front of the Costa Mesa Department of Motor Vehicles when compact car, a pickup truck and an SUV collided just after 12:30 p.m. at 19th Street and Meyer Place.
The SUV rolled over, trapping the motorist, who had to be extricated from the wreckage, Costa Mesa Fire Department Capt. Joseph Noceti said.

Costa Mesa firefighters rushed that driver to a nearby trauma center, according to Noceti.
One another patient was also hospitalized, however their condition was not yet known.

Images from the scene show an empty pink car seat and stuffed animals amid the wreckage, however it was not disclosed if a child was one of those injured in the collision.
It was unclear as of this report if alcohol or drugs were the cause of the crash.
