61-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Costa Mesa
A woman suffered fatal injuries after she was hit by a car while walking in Costa Mesa, authorities said.
COSTA MESA, CA — A woman died Friday after she was hit by a car in Orange County.
Dolores Pliego, 61, was hit by the vehicle just after 6 a.m. Friday at Adams Avenue and Pinecreek Drive in Costa Mesa, the Costa Mesa Police Department said.
The driver who struck the victim remained on scene and cooperated with officers, police said.
