The station has been in business since 1950—the oldest continuously operating gas station in Newport Beach. Even more unique, it offers full service.
For many drivers the idea of an attendant coming out to clean your windshield, check your tires or even to pump your gas seems like a throwback to ancient times. So if you pull in for gas, don’t be fearful—you are not being carjacked.

And since, according to owner Hamid Kianipur, a gas station cannot survive on gas sales alone, the station specializes in repairs.
If you have a high-end German or British car, this place is worth checking out. Hamid says his team is professionally trained with ASE Certification and offers guaranteed service at a low cost.
Kianipur, an engineer by trade who has owned the station since 2003, is a car nut himself (he owns seven). He works on and restores American vintage and collectible cars from the 1940’s to the later classics.
His niche is 1960’s Lincoln Continentals. If you see one of these around town, you will know it. They measure almost 19 feet long, quite a contrast to the smaller cars built today. These things are not to be driven by the faint hearted, or those who are less than expert at parallel parking.
So the next time you're cruising PCH and the needle on your gas gauge starts slumping toward "E" or your car needs some repairs, consider stopping at Union 76 to see what Kianipur can do for you.
