Visitors of all ages will also enjoy a free petting zoo that includes farmyard favorites like goats, sheep, pigs and calves. The petting farm is located near Yellow Gate.

Fairgoers can also cheer for their favored swing at the All-Alaskan Racing Pigs event, which happens daily.

Admission is free, and photos with the racing pigs are available for a fee after every show.

Local beekeepers are also on-site to talk to fairgoers about the importance of the buzzing pollinators in keeping our yards and farms healthy.

In addition, attendees can pay a small fee to enjoy a butterfly enclosure.
