The crime spree started Aug. 25, 2024, in the parking lot of the Hustler Casino in Gardena, according to his plea agreement. The gun-wielding robber took $1,000 from a victim after pushing the woman to the ground and pulling on her purse, prosecutors said.

As Pollard shoved a gun in her mouth, he broke some of her teeth and threatened to kill her if she shouted for help, prosecutors said.

The next day he and an accomplice robbed a man of his wallet and cell phone at gunpoint while the victim was in his cab parked in a Winchell's Donut House parking lot in Carson, prosecutors said. The victim was also struck in the face, prosecutors said.

On the same day, Pollard and another robber took an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch, a monogrammed Berluti wallet and Rolls Royce car keys, all worth about $44,000, from a victim in the parking lot of Fashion Island in Newport Beach, prosecutors said.

The two robbers also attempted to hold up another victim and fired a bullet into a man's car as he tried to race away, prosecutors said.

On Sept. 22, 2024, Pollard attempted to rob another victim of a Lamborghini Urus in a parking lot of South Coast Plaza, prosecutors said. Oshae shot the victim in a hand and thigh in the attempted carjacking, prosecutors said.
