NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Two people were injured in a crash in Newport Beach Thursday morning.
The crash happened on Jamboree Road and Santa Barbara Drive at 9:49 a.m. and involved two cars, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.
According to police, both cars sustained significant damage, and airbags had been deployed in the crash.
Two people were taken to local hospitals as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
