Holiday Lights, Ice Skating: Details Launched For SoCal's 'Largest Winter Festival' In OC

OC Winter Fest returns this Christmas season with enhanced attractions and immersive experiences, organizers said.

COSTA MESA, CA — It's going to start looking a lot like Christmas at the Orange County fairgrounds, after new details were announced for "Southern California's largest winter festival" this week.

Winter Fest OC will return to the Orange County Fair and Event Center starting Nov. 27 with enhanced attractions and immersive experiences, including a brand-new holiday light trail, organizers said Friday.

The festival, which is celebrating its 12th year, promises a "winter wonderland" filled with holiday lights, real snow, attractions and live entertainment for all ages.

"This year, we've made Winter Fest OC even easier for families to experience with flexible admission passes, while continuing to grow and enhance the attractions our guests love," Mark Entner, CEO of PSQ Productions — which manages the event — said in a news release.

The changes, Entner said, include a brand-new immersive Holiday Light Trail with seven uniquely-themed experiences crafted specifically for Winter Fest OC.

More additions include a 20,000-square-foot Bounce Land featuring climbing areas, obstacle courses and slides. A pass for the attraction will also include access to Polar Putt Putt, a nine-hole miniature golf course.

Other attractions will include the nine-lane Snowflake Summit ice tubing slide and an outdoor ice skating rink.

Organizers are also offering private fireside igloos accommodating up to 10 people and a VIP Lounge for Platinum Pass holders.

Residents can purchase admission passes online at early bird prices through Nov. 10, organizers said.

Residents can visit Winter Fest OC's website for more information.
