NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Are you trying to clear out your garage of old, unwanted materials?
The City of Laguna Beach is hosting an E-Waste & Document Shredding event on Saturday, Oct. 10.
At the event, the city will accept e-waste including computers, tablets, monitors, TVs, printers, cell phones, small electronics, microwaves and mini fridges.
In addition, document shredding is limited to 10 legal boxes per household, and no X-rays or binders will be accepted.
Residents were asked to bring a photo ID or other proof of Newport Beach residency that includes a zip code.
The Newport Beach E-Waste & Document Shredding Event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Corporation Yard, 592 Superior Ave.
