Area Cops Seek Public's Help Locating Molestation Suspect
A warrant is out for the 42-year-old, who allegedly assaulted a sleeping girl in Orange County. He is known to frequent Huntington Beach.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a suspect, Robert Tana, 42, of Garden Grove, who is wanted for alleged lewd and lascivious acts on a child and known to frequent the Huntington Beach area .
There is a $1 million warrant for the arrest of Tana, who on March 23 was staying overnight in an Irvine home, where at 4 a.m., detectives suspect he entered the bedroom of a minor girl while she was sleeping, police said.
Tana proceeded to assault the teen with the intent to commit a sexual act, according to law enforcement, but she was able to fight him off, and he left her room

The incident was reported to IPD and investigators said they identified Tana as the suspect. The case was submitted to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for criminal charges, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, the department said.
However, Tana's whereabouts now are unknown, and the Irvine department is asking for the public’s help locating him.

Tana is described as Asian, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He reportedly drives a black, four-door, 2015 Cadillac sedan with license plate number 7MMB385, and is known to frequent the Huntington Beach and Garden Grove areas.
