Bus Flasher Admits Exposing Himself To Teen, Others On OCTA Buses
A 48-year-old serial bus flasher has admitted to exposing himself to a teenager and others on a transit authority bus, court records show.

COSTA MESA, CA — A Costa Mesa man admitted to exposing himself to a teenager and others on Orange County Transit Authority buses, court records show. On Wednesday, Carlos Alberto Tirado pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and one count of child annoyance, accepting a plea deal offered by an Orange County Superior Court Judge.
Tirado was given credit for 44 days in custody, and will serve the rest of his time when he returns to jail on October 12, the court records show.
Sheriff's investigators reviewed footage taken from incidents on OCTA buses in Anaheim, where he was seen exposing and touching himself on a bus near highland and Brisol streets in Santa Ana. At the time he was sitting near a 16-year-old girl, Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Carrie Braun said.

"A sheriff's investigator reviewing bus surveillance footage recognized Tirado as the same suspect arrested Feb. 20 for a similar flashing incident on an OCTA bus in Anaheim," Braun said. "In that case, he exposed himself to a 22- year-old woman aboard a bus near State college Boulevard and La Palma Avenue."
Tirado was arrested March 17 on suspicion of indecent exposure, but he bailed out of jail and was awaiting a court date at the time of the June 29 crime. He also exposed and touched himself last Dec. 10 while making eye contact with a 22-year-old woman on an OCTA bus in Anaheim, Braun said.
