COSTA MESA, CA -- The coroner's office Saturday identified a 37-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a Toyota on a freeway transition road in Costa Mesa. The motorcyclist was Michael Briano, according to the coroner's office.The crash took place at 5:35 p.m. Sunday on the transition road between the northbound 73 toll road to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the CHP.Briano was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.The crash temporarily shut down two lanes on the transition road for the death and accident investigation.--City News Service/Photo via Shutterstock
