Costa Mesa Motorcycle Fatality: Bike Crashed Into Parked Car
A Sunday evening motorcycle ride turned deadly when the rider collided with a parked car. His name is being held pending notification: OCSD.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A motorcyclist who hit a parked car on a Costa Mesa street was declared deceased on Sunday, approximately an hour after the collision.
The as of yet unidentified 27-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a parked car in the 800 block of Joann Street at 5:45 p.m Sunday, according to Costa Mesa police Sgt. Bryan Wadkins.
The man was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, according to the Orange County coroner's office. His name was not released pending family notification.

The cause of the crash was under investigation, Wadkins said.
