Costa Mesa shooting turns into Real Orange County Saga for TV Celebrity's Family

Former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star's son was arrested for a Costa Mesa shooting Monday. Today, he missed his own arraignment.

San Juan Capistrano, CA--Joshua Michael Waring, the son of former "Real Housewives of Orange County'' cast member Lauri Peterson, missed his arraignment today due to refusing to come out of his cell.

Monday, June 20, Waring was arrested for reportedly shooting a man in Costa Mesa at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, and running from the police in a stolen BMW.

An Orange County Sheriff's helicopter spotted the vehicle at approximately 10:30 a.m. Officers from Santa Ana police approached, and Waring led police on a chase that ended with a collision, and foot pursuit down Fourth and Terminal streets.

Waring was ultimately captured inside an area business and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, vehicle theft, felony evading, hit and run and assault and battery. He faces sentencing enhancement allegations for inflicting great bodily injury and for the personal use of a firearm.

He was scheduled to be arraigned sometime today but reportedly refused to come out of his cell. The hearing has been postponed until June 23.
