Critical Injuries From Jamboree Road Collision: Newport Police
The NBPD is still seeking witnesses from a crash on Jamboree Road & Ford Road/Eastbluff Drive. One critically injured in the rollover crash.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A dramatic rollover collision critically injured one woman on Friday, Dec. 1 at just after 12:30 a.m., according to the Newport Beach Police Department.
The NBPD Dispatch Center was notified of a traffic collision near the intersection of Jamboree Road with Ford Road and Eastbluff Drive. The collision involved a single vehicle: a silver 2007 Honda Civic, Jennifer Manzella, press information officer of the NBPD said in a recent statement.
"The car was travelling southbound on Jamboree when the driver lost control and hit a street light pole on the southwest corner of the intersection," Manzella said. "The driver, an adult female and the lone occupant of the vehicle, suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision."

The Newport Beach Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, extricated the woman from the car, and transported her to a local trauma center for medical attention and evaluation.
Neither alcohol nor drugs appears to be a contributing factor in this incident.
