Disneyland Ends Southern California Annual Pass
Southern California residents will get one less deal at the Happiest Place on Earth.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- It's the end of an era. The Southern California annual pass is no longer a thing at Disneyland. The annual pass for nearby residents at the Happiest Place on Earth was officially removed from the park's website Monday morning, according to the Orange County Register.
“We continuously seek the appropriate balance that helps manage demand for our product and allows us to deliver a world-class experience for all guests," a spokesman told the Register.
However, current annual holders can renew their passes that are good for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. But those looking to purchase new passes will not have the Southern California one as an option, the newspaper reported.

The removal of the $469 pass is just a way for the park to manage the massive crowds it sees daily.
"With an estimated 1 million annual pass holders and Star Wars land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, opening in a couple of years and other attractions such as Pixar Pier coming in the near future, Disneyland officials appear to be taking another step to managing future crowds and spreading out the demand," the newspaper wrote.
