Elderly Man Beaten To Death In Huntington Beach Homicide
An elderly man was beaten to death outside of his Huntington Beach home. #breaking

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — An elderly man was beaten and died outside of his Huntington Beach home on Tuesday. Police are investigating the death as a homicide according to Huntington Beach Police information officer Angela Bennett.
Police responded to the scene of unknown trouble in Huntington Beach neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded to a home on the 7800 block of Ellis Avenue at just before 5:15 p.m. according to Bennett.
"Responding officers found the victim lying on the ground and bleeding from his face and head," Bennett said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to Bennett.
Police have identified the victim, but have not released his name or specifics on how he was killed, the Orange County Register reported. The area where the man was found is a neighborhood of older, single- family homes on a palm-lined street, according to The Register.
