Campers will explore different science fields, from astronomy to zoology. They will participate in a variety of age appropriate, exciting, safe hands-on experiments and activities to explore topics like why slime is slippery, how crystals become crunchy, and why things don’t always appear as they really are. Campers will visit the Columbia Memorial Space Center on a field trip where they will launch rockets, design airplanes, ride in a space shuttle flight simulator, and try on a space suit!
Runs Monday through Thursday from Aug. 8 to Aug. 18. The day can be extended to 3 p.m. with "After Camp."
Open to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the fall. Kindergarteners must have turned 5 by June 1.
