Fatal Crash Kills Man In Newport Beach; Victim ID'd As Costa Mesa Man

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A Costa Mesa man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Newport Beach this week, authorities said.

Newport Beach police officers were dispatched at around 12:35 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6 to the intersection of Birch Street and Bristol Street North regarding the crash.

Upon arriving, officers found the vehicle and its sole occupant — who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as Brandon Beach, a resident of Costa Mesa. His age was not immediately known.

The investigation into the cause of this collision remains ongoing.
