NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Former President Donald Trump will make an Orange County visit on Saturday, June 8, and residents can expect road closures and traffic delays on Newport Beach's Harbor Island as a result.

Bayside Drive, from Jamboree Road to Pacific Coast Highway, will be closed to motorists from 7 a.m. to around 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to city officials.

Local residents will be able to access the road with proof of address, the city said.

There will be no parking along the entirety of Harbor Island Road until about 3 p.m., the city said.

Beacon Bay, Harbor Island, Promontory Bay and Promontory Point residents will also be able to access their homes during the event through Pacific Coast Highway and Bayside Drive.

Access to Linda Isle's gated community will also be limited to those two roads, the city said.

The former president is in town as part of a fundraising swing following his felony conviction last week. Tickets for the event range from $3,400 to attend the luncheon to $100,000.
