Free Concert: 'The Wilbury Supergroup' To Play In Newport Beach

Newport Beach residents can be a part of a night full of iconic classic rock hits at this weekend's Summer Concert on the Green.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — In need of a night out? This weekend, the City of Newport Beach is hosting a very special concert featuring The Wilbury Super Group.

Residents who attend the concert will enjoy a night full of classic hits from Tom Petty, The Beatles, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne.

The performance takes place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 and admission is free. Residents were encouraged to bring blankets, low-slung beach chairs and snacks.

The Summer Concert on the Green takes place at the Newport Beach Civic Center, 100 Civic Center Drive.
