Fristers Marks 10th Anniversary at Graduation Ceremony
Fourteen Young OC Moms Graduate from Fristers Program

Fristers marked its 10th anniversary at their graduation of fourteen participants at Mariners Church on Thursday, May 9. The nonprofit program supports pregnant and young mothers (ages 13 - 25) with a five-year plus program to help navigate high school graduation, parenting, life skills, healthy relationships, introduction to college/vocational training opportunities, goal setting and job readiness.
Former business executive and Newport Beach resident Ali Woodard ended her only pregnancy at 17 and vowed to help less fortunate young moms navigate pregnancy and motherhood. Fristers, originally started at Mariners Church, is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and abuse within the teen parent population by providing education, access to resources, role models and support to teen parents and their children. All programs and services are provided free of charge and regardless of religion, race or ethnicity.
