Goodwill Store Trashed After 2 Car Crash, 5 Injured

Two SUVs crashed into an Orange County Goodwill store, injuring five people.

PLACENTIA, CA — An elderly woman and four other people were injured after two vehicles slammed through a Goodwill store in Placentia, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Two SUVs were involved in the crash that occurred just after 4:10 p.m. on the 1100 block of E. Imperial Highway, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito said. An 88-year-old woman was behind the wheel of one of the SUVs, he added.

Images from the scene showed that one SUV rear-ended the other, pushing the lead vehicle entirely inside the store.

The other SUV wound up on the sidewalk.
