NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- Newport Beach firefighters extinguished a second- alarm fire at a residence Sunday. The fire inside a home on the 100 block of East Balboa Boulevard was reported at 12:21 p.m., according to a Newport Beach Fire Department dispatcher.The department sent seven engines and three trucks to handle the blaze, the dispatcher said.
