Injury Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down Harbor Boulevard
A Tuesday morning motorcycle collision closed the heavily traveled Harbor Boulevard for police investigation, Costa Mesa PD said.

COSTA MESA, CA — A Tuesday morning motorcycle crash caused a traffic alert, shutting down a Costa Mesa intersection for a large part of the day according to officials.
Harbor Boulevard was shut down at the intersection as authorities investigated the cause of the crash and cleared wreckage, according to Roxi Fyad of the Costa Mesa Police Department. The roadway was not expected to reopen before 1:30 p.m. according to reports.
A motorcyclist in his 20s, according to Costa Mesa Fire Department Captain Chris Coates, collided with a car on Harbor Boulevard just north of Victoria Street at just before 10:30 a.m.

The motorcyclist was transported to OC Global Medical Center in Santa Ana with moderate to severe injuries, according to Coates.
