Landslide Damages Several Homes In Newport Beach Friday

The landslide was reported Friday morning in the 1900 block of Galaxy Drive in Newport Beach, reports say.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Multiple homes in Newport Beach were damaged after a landslide in a backyard Friday, and at least one home has been red-tagged, Fox11 reported.

The Orange County Fire Authority received reports of the hillside giving way in the 1900 block of Galaxy Drive at around 10:36 a.m. Friday, the report said.

The hillside in the backyard of one home dropped between 50 and 100 feet.
