VIP Savings Card Offering Deals for Last-Minute CDM Shoppers

There are only a few days left before Christmas, if you still have some gifts to buy, you might want to take advantage of the Corona del Mar VIP Preferred Customer Value Card.

The discount card provides discounts of up to 20 percent at 57 local businesses, including restaurants, boutiques, fitness studios, medical offices, cleaners and more. Depending on the location, the card provides deals such as a certain percent off of the bill or free first time services, among many other specialties that residents won’t be able to find anywhere else. Linda Leonhard, president of the CDM Chamber of Commerce, said the program has been underway since 2010 to promote local businesses.

"Even though we've had it out for a year now we're doing a last push on it for the holidays to let people know it's available for Christmas shopping," she said.

The discount card is free to the public, and can be picked up at the . The card, which was first promoted in 2010, expires at the end of the year, giving residents one last chance to reap all of its benefits from the participating businesses.
