Loiterer Seen Outside Attorney's Office; Cops Seek Information
On Monday, Newport Beach Police sought a "suspicious man" who was seen outside of Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti's offices.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A suspicious man was seen outside the offices of high-profile attorney Michael Avenatti, who is involved in a contentious lawsuit with President Donald Trump over his alleged affair with a porn star. Newport Beach Police were investigating the event, according to reports.
Avenatti's office called police to report a man dressed in black had been sighted on surveillance video outside the attorney's offices on Sunday, said Jennifer Manzella of the Newport Beach Police Department.
"At this point we took a report of suspicious circumstances," Manzella told Patch. "We don't have any evidence a crime occurred. All we have is a man in the vicinity of the building. We don't have any vandalism or threats made or personal contact."

Police were investigating, however, and considered the possibility of a threat due to the "high-profile nature of the work" the attorney is involved in, Manzella said.
"We took a report due to suspicious circumstances, but we don't have anything further at this point," she told Patch.
