Luxury Grocer To Open Doors In Costa Mesa
A trendy Los Angeles-based grocery store is opening its doors at the former T-Shirts Warehouse in Costa Mesa.
COSTA MESA, CA — A Los Angeles-based grocery store chain made notorious for its expensive offerings is opening its first Orange County location.
The company, Erewhon, recently signed a lease at the former T-Shirts Warehouse at 140 E. 17th St. in Costa Mesa, according to The Orange County Register.
It will neighbor Bear Flag Fish Co., which is taking over the former Santa Monica Seafood building.

The store will debut in Sept. 2027, according to the Erewhon website.
The chain is known for its expansive (and expensive) offerings, ranging from $22 smoothies to $79 matcha powder.
