Man, 74, Critically Missing In South OC: Have You Seen Read?

COSTA MESA, CA — A 74-year-old man was reported critically missing in south Orange County Thursday, the Costa Mesa Police Department reported.

Read Christensen was last seen at the senior care center he resides at in the 2800 block of Bear Street in Costa Mesa on Wednesday night. At 8 a.m. Thursday morning, he was discovered to be missing from the care center, authorities said,

He is believed to be on foot and wearing a gray button-down shirt and gray pants. He also may be carrying a bible, according to the bulletin issued by the California Highway Patrol.

Read was described as a man standing at 6'5" and weighing around 200 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
