Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash On Orangethorpe
A motorcycle rider was pronounced dead shortly after a Tuesday morning collision on Orangethorpe Avenue.

FULLERTON, CA - A morning collision turned fatal Tuesday in Fullerton, authorities say.
A 21-year-old man died after colliding with a sedan. He was thrown from the motorcycle he was riding, and pronounced dead at an area hospital.
According to Fullerton police, the rider was heading east on Orangethorpe Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. As he approached Courtney Avenue, the driver of a Honda Civic tried to turn west from Courtney onto Orangethorpe, police said.

The motorcycle and the Honda collided in the eastbound lanes of Orangethorpe, and the motorcycle rider was ejected from the bike.
Responding police and paramedics performed CPR on the man at the scene and he was taken to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after 8 a.m., police said.

The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old woman from Fullerton, remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators. It was unclear if anyone had been cited, but police said neither alcohol, drugs nor speed appeared to have been factors in the crash.
