Manhunt On For Burglary Suspect Near Fletcher Jones Dealership

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Newport Beach police were searching Friday for a burglary suspect believed to be holed up inside the Fletcher Jones Motorcars dealership.

Employees at the car dealer at 3300 Jamboree Road called 911 about 1:30 a.m. when they saw the burglary suspect, Newport Beach police Lt. Keith Krallman said.

SWAT officers were called to the scene and were continuing to search for the suspect as of 10:40 a.m., Krallman said.

"They're still actively looking for him," Krallman said. "Nobody's hurt and it's unknown if weapons are involved."
