Mayor's Last Town Hall Meeting in Newport Beach
Join Mayor Dixon at the Friends Room of the Newport Beach Library on Dec. 5

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Mayor Diane Dixon has invited all of the Newport Beach community to join in her last town hall meeting on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Friends Room of the Newport Beach Public Library, 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach, 92660.
The meeting’s agenda topics will include:
- An introduction of Jeff Herdman, Council Member Elect, for District 5
- A discussion about sidewalk safety in Corona del Mar
- An update on City finances, pensions and its FY 2017-2018 budget preparation
- An update on John Wayne Airport and FAA matters
- An explanation of what the legalization of marijuana means to Newport Beach
- Holiday safety tips
- The Mayor’s reflections on 2016
- Time for comments/ideas/questions from the audience.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend and bring their questions and suggestions about these and other Newport Beach issues, projects and programs.
