Jack McBean rejoined his Corona del Mar High soccer teammates Tuesday for a bus trip to Paramount, where he couldn't do anything but offer his encouragement during .

Today, he will be on a different bus, headed in the opposite direction. He joins his new Galaxy teammates on a trip to Torero Stadium on the campus of the University of San Diego, where they will play a friendly against Club Tijuana.

Today's 7 p.m. match could mark the professional debut for McBean, 16, who became the fourth-youngest player in Major League Soccer history when he signed with the Galaxy in January, according to this blog entry on OC Varsity.
