Newport Beach Art Exhibition, Awards Planned: What To Know When You Go

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Calling all art lovers, collectors, friends, and fans. Next week, the 2026 Newport Beach Art Exhibition is planned at the Newport Beach Civic Center.

The event, slated for August 15 at 100 Civic Center, Newport Beach will offer a vibrant showcase of artistic talent in a wonderful community setting. "With over 300 pieces of one-of-a-kind artwork, don't miss this fantastic opportunity to celebrate creativity and culture in person," organizers say.

All artwork will be available for purchase. All the rules and regulations for admitted artists are linked here.

ART EXHIBIT AND SALE
Noon to 5 p.m.

Peruse over 300 unique paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures or mixed media created by local California artists. Support local artists and bring home one of these beautiful works.

FOOD & BEVERAGE PAVILION
Noon to 5 p.m.

Enjoy live music by local band BSide and satisfy your cravings and purchase authentic Mexican cuisine by Tacos and Company. Or, quench your thirst and purchase beer or wine from a no-host bar (21+ area only) by Tap Truck OC.

CHILDREN'S CRAFTS AND ACTIVITIES
Noon to 4:30 p.m.

Paint and create your very own masterpieces with craft activities provided by Art in Motion.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING - Vote for your favorite artwork!
Noon to 3 p.m.

Support your favorite artist and cast a vote for the People's Choice Award. The winner will be announced during the award ceremony at 4 p.m.

NATIVE PLANTS DOCENT-LED TOURS
Noon to 5 p.m.

Docent-led tours will be provided by Sherman Library and Gardens, which will identify all of the beautiful native California plants in the Newport Beach Civic Center Park. Don't forget to pick up a brochure to see all 20 outdoor public sculptures on display in the park!

AWARD CEREMONY
4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Celebrate the winners of 59th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition with guest juror Julie Perlin Lee, Executive Director of Laguna Art Museum.

EVENT PARKING

Free parking available in the Civic Center Structure (100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach 92660). Additional parking will be available across the street at the parking lot near 12 Corporate Plaza Drive. To park in the structure, please enter through the Avocado Avenue and Civic Center Drive entrance only.
