Newport Beach Lifeguards Rescue Tourists Stranded on Rocks
The Newport Beach Lifeguards came to the rescue of several tourists in the area of Cameo Rocks--after their rented jet skis capsized.

Newport Beach, CA--Lifeguards were out in force on Saturday aiding with a marine rescue.
Newport Beach Lifeguards extracted people off of the Cameo Shores rocks, salvaging two personal water craft, and transporting one person to medics.

"This time at Ladder Rock," the Newport Beach Lifeguards posted on their facebook page.
Two personal water craft jet skis capsized, according to the report.

"The jet ski operators headed for the rocks," they said.
Newport Lifeguards assisted the stranded swimmers to safety, while the Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies towed the skis back to the rental company.
