NOTICE OF UNSCHEDULED VACANCY

The City of Newport Beach is currently accepting applications to fill the following one (1) seat on the HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE:

The City seeks to identify and appoint one (1) member with knowledge and experience financing unique housing projects other than affordable and/or senior housing projects. The term is indefinite. The Committee shall expire and sunset without further action upon completion and submittal of a certifiable Housing Element to the California Department of Housing and Community Development which is anticipated to occur in late 2021 or early 2022.

Meetings shall be held as required by the business needs of the Committee in such locations, dates and times as allowed by the Ralph M. Brown Act. The Committee typically meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 6 p.m. as necessary, but the schedule can change.

Applications will be accepted until Saturday, February 6, 2021.
