Newport Beach Public Hearing & 30-Day Review For Draft FY 2021-2022 Draft Action Plan

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., or soon thereafter as the matter shall be heard, a public hearing will be conducted in the City Council Chambers at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach. The City Council of the City of Newport Beach will receive public comments and consider the following:

2021-2022 Draft Action Plan for the upcoming fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022. The Action Plan is a grant application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the second of five fiscal years covered by the City’s current 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. The Action Plan will appropriate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding of approximately $385,000, to specific activities for the 2021-2022 fiscal year to address Strategic Plan goals included in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
