Newport Beach Transient Charged With Indecent Exposure

The homeless man has been arrested and charged with serial flashing across Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and Los Angeles County: Courts.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A transient was caught exposing himself to the unaware in Laguna Beach and charged with felony indecent exposure, as well as a plethora of misdemeanors on Monday, according to court records.

This is not the first time 63-year-old Mark Erik Anderson was caught flashing, as he was recently convicted of the same in Los Angeles County, court records show. In early November Anderson was also ticketed for jaywalking in Newport Beach.

Anderson, who is homeless, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday to a felony count of indecent exposure as well as single misdemeanor counts each of failing to register as a transient sex offender, and failure to register and show proof of residence upon release from jail.
