Newport Cops Seek Burglary Suspect Caught On Ring Doorbell: Photo
Police are seeking a potential suspect seen on Ring doorbell video the night of a residential break-in. Do you know this person?

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A residential burglary suspect is being sought by the Newport Beach Police Department, they reported Thursday.
Public assistance is needed to identify the suspect who broke into a home on January 2, 2019 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. in the area of Malabar Drive, police said.
"He made entry into the home by breaking a rear glass window and fled the area before the Newport Beach Police Department Officers arrived," a department spokesperson told Patch.

After reviewing the surveillance video, it appears that one of the suspects rings the doorbell to ensure no one is home. Then, moments later, the suspects are seen entering the backyard and breaking the rear window. The attached photo was captured by the homeowner’s Ring Doorbell at the time of the crime.
