Starting August 6, guests 21-years-old and older will receive mini “Martini Flags” as a souvenir of this milestone, while supplies last.
"The beloved “Martini Flag” has been a Beachcomber staple since the cafe’s beginning," Cavanaugh said.
The "martini" call urges the patrons to salute, cheers, and enjoy their libations together. Now, a decade later, the tradition the Beachcomber wants to give each diner who celebrates with them. The personal martini flag keepsake is ideal to hang in their kitchen or at-home bar.
“Over the last decade, locals and visitors alike have fallen in love with Beachcomber, and we appreciate their choosing Beachcomber for special occasions or just a casual day at the beach,” said Cavanaugh. “Beachcomber fans adore the ‘Martini flag,’ and we wanted to commemorate the anniversary with a gift that would remind them of a time well spent with family and friends at the Beachcomber.”
To help ring in the Beachcombers 10th anniversary, the restaurant will also feature a “Throw Back” menu highlighting some of the restaurant’s favorites through the years. These include the filet mignon Cobb salad served during lunch, ancho maple glazed salmon for dinner and Tunisian pizza for an appetizer. The Beachcomber will also be serving a special refreshing anniversary martini made with Absolut Raspberry, fresh lemonade and fresh watermelon juice and served with an orchid.
The Beachcomber has garnered attention from locals and visitors, and was featured last year in Curtis Stone’s Food Network TV show, “Beach Eats USA.”
The Beachcomber regularly tops the lists of best restaurants in Southern California according to Cavanaugh.
