OC Foundation Seeks To Raise $100K For Nonprofits: How To Help
The Orange County Community Foundation will host a 24-hour online campaign to raise money for teen nonprofits across the county on Feb. 8.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Orange County residents looking to help support the youth in their communities, the OC Community Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to raise $100,000 for nonprofits committed to supporting, educating and empowering teens on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
The fifth annual Love Is Giving Day is a 24-hour collaborative giving day to benefit nine nonprofits in Orange County geared toward supporting teens and building healthy relationships.
“Orange County thrives when we ensure a safe, healthy and loving environment for all who call our community home—especially our youth,” Shelley Hoss, president and CEO of the Orange County Community Foundation, said in a statement. “We are honored to support the nonprofits that remain committed to the healthy development and well-being of our next generations.”

During the 24-hour online campaign, funds will be raised to support the following nonprofits:
- Crittenton Services
- Laura’s House
- LGBTQ Center Orange County
- OC Pride
- Planned Parenthood – Orange & San Bernardino Counties, Inc.
- The Priority Center
- UCI Law
- Unsilenced Project, Inc.
- Women’s Transitional Living Center, Inc.
