HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA —A 34-year-old Orange County man is behind bars today for killing a woman he was dating, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.Police responded to a report of an assault in progress at approximately 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the 8400 block of Jenny Drive. When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Laura Sardinha dead at the scene. They took Craig Charron to an area hospital for treatment, and he was arrested two days later on suspicion of murder.Charron was taken into custody at approximately 10 a.m. Friday, the Huntington Beach Police Department reported. He was being held in lieu of $10 million bail.According to police, Sardinha and Charron were in a dating relationship.
