When the tide came in faster than they expected, the adults became stuck on the rocks and called for assistance, according to OCSD information officer Lt. Lane Lagaret.

"Four people became stuck on a cliff side near the ocean at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sunday," Lagaret said over Twitter.
