1 Injured After Car Flips On Costa Mesa Freeway
The crash was reported at 7:43 a.m. on the State route 55 near Chapman Avenue in Orange.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Commuters experienced extra traffic congestion while passing through Orange Monday morning, after a car rollover crash near the junction of the northbound State route 55 and near Chapman Avenue stalled traffic on the freeway.
The crash was reported at 7:43 a.m. and resulted in an early morning SigAlert, authorities said. At least one person was injured in the crash, which shut down three lanes on the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The SigAlert was issued at 7:54 a.m. and is expected to continue for a half hour.
The status of the injured person is not known.

Commuters were advised to steer clear of the scene while the SigAlert is active.
