Silverado Residents Treated To Boat Parade In Newport Beach
The two veterans enjoyed waterfront views of the holiday event thanks to the American Legion of Newport Beach.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA –Thanks to the American Legion of Newport Beach for donating two tickets, two veterans, both residents of Silverado Newport Mesa Memory Care, were able to experience the recent Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade.
Don Holmes served as an Army private, and Robert Martin, who served in the Navy, has been a American Legion member for more than 30 years.
"They really enjoyed being able to sit outside right by the water and view the different boats," said a Silverado spokesperson. "They attended with our MSW, Jodie, and caregiver, Grace. You can see their expressions of serenity!"
