'Star Wars: Last Jedi' Had Orange County Fans Lining Up
OC and fans across the country lined up to see "The Last Jedi" this weekend. One super fan decked halls with this Darth Vader light show.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Were you one with the force over the weekend? "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" dominated North American theaters over the weekend on its way to a $220 million opening, according to final figures released Monday. One enormous fan paid tribute with this light display in their front yard. See the full video below.
At the box offices in southern California, fans drank in the feature. The massive haul for the sci-fi blockbuster gave it the second-biggest debut in Hollywood history, according to box-office tracker comScore.
The animated film "Ferdinand" debuted at theaters with $13.4 million, but was no match for "Star Wars."
Another animated offering, Disney/Pixar's "Coco," collected $9.9 million between Friday and Sunday, pushing its four-week haul to $150.7 million. The inspirational tale "Wonder" earned $5.2 million over the weekend, followed by Warner Bros.' "Justice League" with $4.3 million. "Justice League" has collected $219.6 million during its five weeks in theaters.

Rounding out the weekend's top 10 films were "Daddy's Home 2" ($3.8 million); "Thor: Ragnarok" ($3.1 million); "The Disaster Artist" ($2.7 million); "Murder On The Orient Express" ($2.5 million); and "Lady Bird" ($2.1 million).
