Teachers Night Out!

Hey Teachers! The Environmental Nature Center (ENC) is presenting a “Teachers Night Out!” on Friday, October 7, from 3:30-7pm. K through 3rd grade teachers will enjoy mini-workshops throughout the Nature Center, and learn hands-on activities to teach NGSS concepts in their own classrooms. Teachers will also join ENC Community Outreach Director Sama Wareh to do a hands-on project that will demonstrate ways to connect Common Core Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards to art. Food, drinks, and a campfire will round out the evening! All attendees will be entered to win giveaways, get priority booking for 2016-2017 school programs, and receive free curricular and instructional resources.
